Hey guys, I had the very good fortune of meeting one of Springtown’s very nice citizens.
Her name is Carolea Hassard, and she works for the Springtown Epigraph “the local paper”
She read my Blog about the way I was treated by the folks at the Chamber of Commerce and contacted me with an offer to do a story on my music and becoming a new resident of the area.
I would like to encourage all my local fans to pick up an issue of the Wednesday 11th edition of the Springtown Epigraph and have a gander at what she has written.

Also thanks so much Carolea for supporting local music and giving me new hope for bringing live music to Springtown and surrounding areas.
I am proud to call you a new friend

I will be taking the winter off from playing and will hit it hard in the Spring, booking as many shows as I can handle or “get”
One of which that I plan is a free concert for the residents of Springtown at the Tabernacle on the squarish part of town.

hey guys and ladies….
Some folks have said that my last blog seemed down, and yeah I have been down lately.
You guys that aren’t musicians may not know how incredibly hard it is to keep ones spirit up while playing ans struggling to make a living at this sort of thing.
Lately I have been contemplating calling it quits….this is true, but like any job we all go through these things.
Chances are though that i will always play music til I can’t anymore, just may not always do it for money.
Since i moved I dont know I’ve been in a funk for whatever reason I havent determined yet, just hope it will be over soon.
I have written a new song called “Silver Rings”
You know, i have never been one of those guys who can grasp writting about good things but rather my emotion comes from suffering, in which case I have a lot to draw on for writting material.

Even though that locals here in Springtown,Tx. don’t come close to appreciating my music or me for that matter it has inspired me to write a song about the “ladies” at the Chamber of Commerce who have deemed my music as “inapropriate"….more to come.

I married away a lovely lady this past Saturday Carley Kellar, and wish her and her new love Danny a long and very happy life together, the Petterson family means a whole lot to me….so much so that Carley’s dad Cowboy Bob has inspired a newish song intitled “Cowboy Bob".
I plan on adding more content to the site soon including vids, pics, and audio….so keep coming back and things will start changing very soon.

I am also throwing a Costume party for Halloween, so hollar at a brutha if I haven’t heard from you if you want to come…..the only requirement is that you DO dress up.

So I moved to Springtown, which has no music scene to speak of..I bought a truck , sold some gear.
Nothing really going on much…I am getting tired of trying to get to the next level.
People lie to you, constantly.
I still make sure that music is fun for if I lose sight of that it’s time to quit all together.
Haven’t written any new songs, and am soon as I am able to I will record CD two for myself if nobody else. but there will be a much shorter run…and nobody will get a promo copy as I am still looking at box after box of Under The Covers.
I will need to sell every cope to make back the money I spend.
Hope everyone else is doing better than I am.
